According to Secrecy News, apparently the US Army tried to disable the document in order to prevent people taking the material and selling it on Amazon, which has happened in the past. The document contained a number of photographs which the army did not have copyright for, and when they have obtained permission they will publish them. I am no copyright lawyer, but surely if this is the case, publishing the pictures at all is breach. What an odd episode…
